Oh. He wasn't actually supposed to answer with a question. TJ blinked, confused for the duration of a few seconds, then huffed. "Well, yeah, I mean, but..." Of course it's a big deal and yet it wasn't. TJ's feelings weren't changed, he still liked what he saw in Elliot. A revelation like this seems to expand on him, fill him out more, add dimension and cast light on shadows where TJ didn't see before.

"None of that changes what we have. Whatever that is," TJ assured, his expression both earnest and worried. So what if the guy's just a bit more of a complicated mess than TJ thought.
