TJ pressed his lips together and gave Elliot a rare stern look. He reached over to lay a hand on Elliot's leg, in an effort to be reassuring, though he's not sure how well itwould work with them both keyed up.

"Did you kill her? No? Not your fault." TJ softened a little then, gently squeezing Elliot's knee. "She matters," he assured. He could tell there was something there and he wasn't going to try to diminish that. Elliot obviously cared about her above and beyond the service she provided in getting him drugs. TJ wasn't the jealous type, and he knew Elliot obviously had a life before they ever met. Maybe it was the way Elliot's voice faltered when he spoke of her that twinged at him.

"Elliot, did you think this would... be a big deal to me? All of this?"
